The Court of Appeal rejection of Alured Darlington’s drug mules case has been reported
Despite his tenacious efforts, the Court of Appeal rejected Alured’s appeal on behalf of drugs mules sentenced prior to the Sentencing Guidelines Council publication of new guidelines.
Their decision describes Alured as being on a ‘mission’ which is certainly true, and although the appeal has been rejected, he has managed to raise an important point of moral principle.
